We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and patient Personal Assistant to support a 23-year-old woman. The successful candidate will provide transport and support, building a positive and trusting relationship while encouraging independence and confidence.
Duties include:
- Providing transport to and from a placement on Mondays and Fridays.
- Collection from Crowborough at 8:30am and transporting her to St Leonards, arriving by 10:00am.
- Collecting her at 3:00pm and transporting her back to her home in Crowborough.
- Providing companionship and engaging in conversation during journeys.
- Offering reassurance and support where required.
- Helping to promote independence while providing a calm and consistent presence.
The successful candidate will have a clean, full UK driving licence and will ideally be based in the Hastings or St Leonards area. Experience of supporting autistic people, or a good understanding of autism, is essential.
We are looking for someone who is reliable, trustworthy, patient, and able to communicate confidently, building a positive and supportive relationship over time.
The ideal candidate will be calm, friendly, and able to engage naturally in conversation, helping to make journeys enjoyable and comfortable.

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
Notes:
