I have a passion for 1950s music, vintage style clothing, vinyl LPs, cars and motorsport. I'm a big fan of Goodwood events and have a keen interest in World War II and military history. I also enjoy visiting pubs, trying different food trucks, listening to live bands and spending time with other people. I'm very sociable and enjoy getting involved in activities in my local community often travelling on my 3 wheeled trike.
I'm looking for someone who can support me to access activities and places I enjoy, as well as helping me build my confidence with travel training and trying new experiences. No personal care is required. The support I need is mainly around companionship, encouragement and occasional gentle reminders to help me stay organised and make the most of my time.
I'm looking for someone who is friendly, reliable, patient and has a good sense of humour. Ideally, you will be a driver as this would make it easier for me to get to some of the places and events I enjoy, although this is not essential. Mileage will be paid rate to be agreed.
The role is for five hours per week, although I would like someone who can be flexible as some weeks I may want more support than others depending on what I have planned.
If you think you would enjoy supporting me to pursue my interests, get out into the community and have some fun along the way, I would love to hear from you.
