Hours per week:
2x4 hour sessions a week and one 8 hour session every 4 weeks. Bank position also available to cover holiday and sickness.
Hourly pay rate:
£19
I am looking for a personal assistant with appropriate skills and experience to support my wife to get out and about and to give me a short break from my caring role once a month.She would like to go swimming regularly again but needs support with changing and getting in and out of the pool. She would also like to undertake other activities at home and in the community for which PA support is needed. This is an opportunity to develop a lasting working relationship and is a rewarding role for the right person.
Duties include:
- Providing support for activities in and outside the home
- Companionship
- Transportation to activities outside the home
- Assistance with dressing and undressing at the swimming pool and getting in the pool
- Help with mobility in and outside the home
- Light domestic duties
- Other relevant duties as required.
Candidate qualities:
- Appropriate caring skills and experience

- Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
- Hygienic, tidy and well organised
- Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
- Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills

- Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
- Able to work to high standards of health & safety at all times.
Additional requirements
Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
