We are looking for a PA to support a non-verbal 7-year-old boy with learning disabilities. The ideal candidate will be energetic, as well as playful, caring, and compassionate, with a genuine love for working with children.
The role involves taking the child out to local attractions, the park, the beach, and he loves swimming. He is full of energy and active and loves being outdoors, so someone who is comfortable being very active also and engaging in play is essential.
Because he does not have an awareness of danger, he must be supervised at all times. We are looking for someone who is highly responsible, attentive, and committed to keeping him safe while ensuring he has fun and meaningful experiences.
Experience working with children with learning disabilities or non-verbal children is very helpful. What matters most is your attitude, patience, and willingness to connect with him on his level.
This role is perfect for someone who is reliable, enthusiastic, and enjoys making a difference in a child's life through play and positive support.
Duties include:
Candidate qualities:
- Energetic
- Patient
Additional requirements
Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
Notes:
All applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check if required.
