16 over 2 days as well as holiday and sickness cover on Monday and Wednesday.
Hourly pay rate:
£14 per hour and 45 pence per mile
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic personal assistant, male or female, to support a young gentleman in maintaining his independence. As a non-speaker, he communicates primarily through an app on his iPad. If you share his interests in football, rugby, gaming on his PS4, and enjoy exciting trips to theme parks, museums, zoos, the theatre, cinema, and taking part in work-related activities, this role could be a great fit for you.
The support required includes companionship and light personal care, which is currently very limited. The number of working hours could increase to 16 hours over two days, with additional availability required to cover holiday and sickness on Mondays and Wednesdays. The hourly rate of pay is £14.00, and mileage is reimbursed at 45 pence per mile.
Duties include:
- Lifting the folding wheelchair in/out of car, pushing the employer’s manual wheelchair when out.
- Limited personal care
