Looking for a PA to help with my 13-year-old daughter who is a fun loving, happy, easy going and content girl. Even though she is nonverbal she can communicate her needs.
She will need help with physio activities, communication aids, play therapy, eating, drinking and having fun.  Going out in the community in her wheelchair would be great too. Experience with PMLD children essential.
4 hours a week during weekends.
Times to suit, not every weekend necessary.
More hours available during school holidays.

Duties include:

  • Personal grooming
  • Eating and drinking assistance
  • Moving and handling
  • Other relevant duties as required
  • Transportation
  • Companionship
  • Dressing / undressing

  • Physiotherapy exercises

Candidate qualities:

  • Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
  • Reliable with good timekeeping
  • Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
  • Hygienic, tidy and well organised
  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
  • Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Honest and cheerful
  • Creative
  • Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
  • Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

  • Experience with PMLD children essential

Non-smoker due to medical reasons
