Hours per week:
6 hours per week on a Wednesday.
Hourly pay rate:
£14.01 per hour
Part time PA required to provide personal care and assistance for a 39 year-old woman living in Haywards Heath, who has a spinal cord injury.
This role involves providing care at the home lived in, which is shared with partner and small dog, and is located within a short walking distance to Haywards Heath town and train station.
Assistance needed with (but not limited to) cooking, day-to-day assistance with tasks, light tidying and personal care (toileting or showering), for 6 hours per week on a Wednesday.
All professional training will be provided
Duties include:
- Clinical tasks – personal care for bladder management
Candidate qualities:
- Reliable, empathic and understanding of the sensitive nature of supporting someone with care needs.
- Driving licence preferrable
The role requires close personal contact with an individual who is extremely vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission. Preference may be given to applicants who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Careful consideration will be given to applicants who can show the vaccination is not suitable for them on reasonable grounds.
