I’m a friendly, chatty and determined 24‑year‑old wheelchair user looking for a kind, creative Personal Assistant with a great sense of humour. I love playing on my switch , doing arts and crafts, acting, and theatre – I recently performed in David Copperfield: A Life at Theatre Royal Bath!

I’m looking for someone considerate, positive, up for a laugh and can encourage my independence to join my team of PAs to help support me with morning personal care and activities.

I have limited hand dexterity so patience is key but can do standing transfers from my chair.

I would like someone who can put my abilities first, not my disability. Ask me what I can and want to do today, support and guide, not just do it for me.

Duties include:

Medication prompting/administering
Personal grooming
Moving and handling
Other relevant duties as required
Housekeeping
Shopping
Cooking
Transportation
Companionship
Dressing / undressing
Bathroom assistance

Candidate qualities:

Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
Reliable with good timekeeping
Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
Hygienic, tidy and well organised
Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
Honest and cheerful
Creative
Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
Must be comfortable with pets
Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
