A kind, patient, and reliable Personal Assistant is needed to support a 14-year-old boy with autism for 3 hours each Saturday, providing his parent with some much-needed respite.
The role involves spending quality time with him doing activities he enjoys — such as visiting local parks, going for walks or scooter rides, bowling, swimming, or playing interactive games like Mario Kart. He has a great sense of humour, clear interests, and responds best to people who are calm, consistent, and genuinely engaged.
Some Saturdays may simply involve staying at home with him while his parent steps out. There’s also potential for additional hours during school holidays, depending on availability and how the arrangement develops.
This is a lovely opportunity for someone who enjoys working one-on-one, values connection, and is looking to make a meaningful difference in a young person’s life.
