To be discussed. Currently we are looking for weekend day hours and after school weekday hours, plus support during the holidays.

Hourly pay rate:

To be discussed. Range £12.75-14.70 depending on weekend/ weekday and on experience

We are seeking enthusiastic and caring PAs for our gorgeous 9 year old son, who has cerebral palsy epilepsy and complex health needs. He is fully dependent; non mobile and non verbal but communicates his feelings in his own way. He loves being physical and active, loves music and being at home with his family.

Duties include:

  • Medication prompting/administering
  • Personal grooming
  • Eating and drinking assistance
  • Moving and handling
  • Other relevant duties as required
  • Dressing / undressing
  • Bathroom assistance

  • Our son is PEG fed blended diet so preparation of feeds may be needed (not cooking).

Candidate qualities:

  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
  • Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills

  • Must be comfortable with pets
  • Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

  • Caring, fun, enthusiastic and easy going, at ease joining in the busy family environment in our home.
  • Physically strong as our son has high tone and severe dystonia.

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours, Vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission
