Are you a kind, reliable and caring person looking to make a real difference in someone’s life? An opportunity has arisen to join a small, friendly care team supporting a warm, sociable lady who uses a wheelchair and lives in the Eastbourne area of East Sussex.
You’ll be working regular, contracted hours as part of a close-knit team that values compassion, reliability and a positive attitude. The role involves daytime shifts from 08:30 to 12:30, on alternate Saturdays and Sundays. Some flexibility is needed to cover holidays and sickness.
The lady you’ll be supporting is in her 60s, with a busy family life that includes three grown-up daughters, four teenage grandchildren, and two friendly cats who are very much part of the household.
Your main responsibilities will include assisting with the bedtime routine, providing personal care, and ensuring all documentation is completed clearly and accurately. You’ll also attend regular training and annual updates to keep your skills and knowledge current.
You must be honest, hardworking and reliable, willing to undertake an Enhanced DBS check and attend all necessary training. Previous care experience is welcome but not essential — what’s most important is your commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate support.
If you’re someone who enjoys helping others live independently and would like to be part of a small, caring team, we’d love to hear from you.
Duties include:
- Assisting with bedtime routine
