Are you a kind, friendly and reliable person who enjoys helping others and making a real difference? I am looking for a friendly Personal Assistant/Carer to support me for around 6 hours a week.
I am a very kind, happy and positive person who always has a smile on my face. I have cerebral palsy, a speech impairment, hearing difficulties and head shakes, so I am looking for someone patient, understanding and willing to communicate with me in a way that works for me.
The role would involve helping me with some everyday tasks such as changing my bed, shopping, preparing and cooking dinner, and supporting me with appointments. I may also need help attending hospital appointments, including appointments relating to my hearing aids. Other personal support may include helping with things such as a back massage and shaving my face.
However, this role is about much more than practical support. I would love to find someone who enjoys spending time with me and helping me get out and enjoy life. I enjoy fun days out, travelling by train, going to the beach, swimming, dancing clubs, cycling and gardening. I also love dogs and animals, watching films and TV, listening to music, technology and travelling. I am always interested in trying new things and having new experiences.
I am looking for someone who is friendly, patient, respectful, trustworthy and has a positive attitude. Someone who can support me to be more independent, enjoy my hobbies and get out into the community would be fantastic.
If you are a caring person who enjoys helping others and would like to make a positive difference while sharing some fun experiences along the way, I would love to hear from you.
