We’re looking for an outgoing, energetic and fun-loving Personal Assistant to support our wonderful, active 8-year-old son with Autism and ADHD.
This role would suit someone who is energetic, reliable and ready to have fun!
He is a very sweet and active little boy who loves swimming, visiting the animals at the farm and enjoying soft play.
When out and about, reins will need to be used to keep him safe, as he may run off and has no awareness of danger.
His spoken communication is very limited, so you will need to use clear, simple instructions and confidently support and safeguard him if he becomes dysregulated.
He is a very happy boy with endless energy who loves racing around at soft play and jumping into the swimming pool. We’re looking for someone upbeat who can match his enthusiasm, share plenty of laughter and enjoy spending time with a super-fun little boy who is sure to leave you smiling.
Duties include:
- Accessing social and leisure activities such as the farm, zoo, park, soft play, getting lunch, swimming etc
- Remain observant and monitor risks while out and about
