He is also keen on activities such as DJing and getting out and about. His PA should be happy to join in with activities, including getting in the pool and swimming with him.

The role is about providing companionship, encouragement and positive support. He can have low self-esteem, so someone who is patient, encouraging and able to build his confidence while gently introducing him to new experiences would be ideal.

The PA will support him with accessing the community, attending activities, going to the gym and trying new things, while also providing respite for his parents. There may occasionally be a need to support his brother too.

The start time may be around 3:00pm when collecting him from his day centre, or around 3:30pm–4:00pm if starting from home.

There are two cats in the home, so you will need to be comfortable around pets. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who is reliable, fun and genuinely interested in helping him enjoy life, develop his confidence and discover new experiences.
