In my 32 years of experience, I have found myself to be a reliable and compassionate person, striving to care for others and to help improve their quality of life, in any way I can. I like to build strong, personal relationships, based on care and respect for the individual’s needs. I am open and bubbly and love to chat.

My life and work experience has always revolved around following the needs of others, based on their abilities, and forming trusting relationships with people of all ages. I am empathetic and easy-going.

I think a sense of humour is important and I have good communication skills and a warm and friendly nature.

I feel motivated to make a positive difference in people’s lives and find caring for others extremely rewarding.

Having grown up and spent most of my life in South Africa, I have a great love for nature and the outdoors. My husband and I have been sailing for 3 years, which has been a wonderful learning and eye-opening experience. Now in Eastbourne for a year, on our boat in the marina, we are building our lives here, as well as being close to family and my 2 grown up sons. The harbour lifestyle is relaxed and friendly and there is always something interesting going on. I love being a homebody – cooking, tidying and organizing. I enjoy reading and talking to people, as well as going for coastal walks and getting to know the beautiful countryside around us.

I love animals but have not had a pet since we started sailing and living on a boat, so would love the interaction with your pet.

I have an enhanced DBS and have done various training courses in the Caring field.
