I have lots of experience in assisting people of all ages who struggle with mental health conditions, brain injuries, learning difficulties, disabilities and challenging behaviours. I worked as a Peer Support Worker at a mental health centre for two years. I have lived experience of mental health issues and I have a good understanding of not only the difficulties of mental health issues for people, but the effects it has on their families too. My dedication and enthusiasm, and caring and compassionate demeanour, was praised by my employers and peers in my job as a Support Worker and allowed me to connect with people.

In 2022 I worked as a Home Carer for an elderly lady with dementia, but sadly she had to go into a care home. I can provide references from her daughters who were my employers. Since February 2023, I have been working as an Admin Assistant for two hours per week. During 2024 I worked as a Support Worker for a lady with Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder, until she had to move and unfortunately I could no longer travel there.

I have a NCFE Level 2 qualification in Working with People with Mental Health Needs and Level 2 Certificate in Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care.

In my spare time, I am a singer/songwriter and enjoy working on different music projects. I volunteer at a record label and I’m also a media volunteer for mental health charities.
