First Aid (theory and practical)

This training session will provide a thorough overview of basic first aid including a practical sign off.

• First Aid legislation
• The roles and responsibilities of an emergency first aider
• How to assess an incident
• Requirements of the First Aid box
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Recovery position
• Choking
• Burns and scalds
• Control of bleeding
• Dealing with shock
• Care of the unconscious

Who is this course for?

This training is for personal assistants who are looking to gain essential knowledge to help them with their work.

Fully funded training

This course is fully funded for personal assistants who are employed by an individual employer receiving a Direct Payment.
