An Introduction to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion

The goal of this training is to create environments where all individuals are treated fairly, with dignity and respect, regardless of their background, characteristics, or differences. In a world that thrives on diversity and inclusivity, understanding and appreciating the unique differences of individuals is paramount.
What will be covered?
- The definitions of equality, diversity and inclusion.
- The 9 protected characteristics.
- The Equality Act 2010.
- The definitions of harassment, discrimination and victimisation.
- Unconscious bias and stereotypes.
This session will be held online via Zoom.
Funding
Our PA training courses are currently fully funded by Skills for Care. This funding is available for Individual Employers living in England, aged 18 and over who employ their own PAs or contract* self-employed PAs, using either:
- their own money
- adult social care Direct Payments
- NHS Personal Health Budgets.
*’Contracted’ refers to PAs with true self-employed status. We may ask for evidence from self-employed PAs accessing training.
