Support Worker/Personal Assistant (could be employed or self employed)

I am looking for personal care for a Man

Drivers licence required: No

Hours per week:

4 hours per fortnight, days/times to be arranged

Hourly pay rate:

Employed: £15.00 per hour. Self-employed – please apply stating your hourly rate.

I am a 77 year old gentlemen requiring a friendly Support Worker to enable me to access social activities and provide companionship.

I enjoy going out for walks, having a chat, playing tennis.  I am also very interested in sports and technology.

Some help with light housework tasks may be required later on.

You should be friendly, patient, flexible and reliable.

If you apply on a self employed basis, you will need to be willing to undergo an HMRC status check and provide other evidence of your self employed status.

Duties include:

  • Companionship

  • Support to access social/leisure activities e.g. walking, playing tennis.
  • Light housework tasks may be required in future.

  • The role requires close personal contact with an individual who is extremely vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission. Preference may be given to applicants who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Careful consideration will be given to applicants who can show the vaccination is not suitable for them on reasonable grounds.
