Hours per week:
8 hours per week, there are 2 regular appointments per week. Indoor Cycling on a Thursday morning from 11.30 to 12.30, I do not always stay for the whole hour. Friday I go to the Gym from 4.00pm again I do not always stay for the whole hour. 2 lunch calls on a Monday and Thursday between 12.00pm and 1.00pm. Remaining hours to be used to access the community, this can be discussed at interview.
Hourly pay rate:
£12.00ph rising to £12.21 in April
I am looking for an experienced support worker for 8 hours per week. I have Huntington’s disease and this condition means I am more easily fatigued and have difficulty mobilising. I now require one-to-one support to arrange and attend social activities and appointments, as well as support at meal-times due to choking risks and difficulties with meal preparation. Word-finding has become more challenging, and I prefer not to take phone calls but to have face-to-face interactions. I have 2 regular appointments per week and would need you to take me to these and pick me up again. I also need support two lunchtimes per week, Monday, and Thursday between 12.00 and 1.00 to support with preparing and eating lunch.
