I am looking for personal care for a Woman

Drivers licence required: No

Hours per week:

Wednesday - to support with a school run during school term times. Approx. 8.20am morning and 3.00pm afternoon pickup. Cover for other school days also required as and when needed.

Hourly pay rate:

£10 per school run

Due to my sudden illness and incapacitation, I am looking for a support worker to take my 6 year old son to and from school on Wednesdays, morning and afternoon.

The school is in Worthing. We live 10 minutes walk from the school so a car driver is not essential.

You would be required to hold his hand on busy roads and keep him safe and supervised at all times.

You must be friendly, cheerful, very reliable with good time-keeping, honest and trustworthy.

Duties include:

  • Companionship
  • Other relevant duties as required

Walking my son to/from school morning and afternoon during school term time on Wednesdays
Holding his hand on busy roads
Keeping him safe and supervised at all times
Driver with own car not essential. If you do drive, you can park your car near my home as there are limited parking areas at the school.

Candidate qualities:

  • Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
  • Honest and cheerful
  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties

Additional requirements

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours

Please note, if you are successful in your application for this position you will be employed directly by the individual employer and not Independent Lives. Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.
