I am looking for personal care for a Man

Drivers licence required: No

Hours per week:

Rolling 2-week rota: Wk. 1 Monday 2pm - 6pm, Thursday 6pm - 11pm and Friday 11am - 2pm Wk. 2 Monday 2pm - 11pm and Thursday overnight 6pm - 10am. Start and finish times may be negotiable and job available. Please apply if you can do any of the above

Hourly pay rate:

£10.50, this may be increased depending on experience, overnights paid at a flat rate

I am a sociable and chatty gentleman, looking for a support worker to cover my live in carer’s breaks. The role will involve domestic tasks, personal care and assisting me to get out and about and walk my dog.

Duties include:

  • Other relevant duties as required
  • Housekeeping
  • Clinical tasks
  • Bathroom assistance
  • Companionship
  • Administration
  • Eating and drinking assistance
  • Cooking
  • Looking after pets
  • Moving and handling
  • Dressing / undressing

Laundry, hanging out to dry, ironing, putting away
Taking out rubbish.
Occasionally Writing emails/Letters on my behalf
Occasionally Accessing the internet
Minimal Catheter Care
Getting in and out of the wheelchair ('transferring'). This will be minimal
Watching TV and listening to music whilst on duty at the employer's home
Assisting me to walk my Assistance dog

Candidate qualities:

  • Must be comfortable with pets
  • Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
  • Happy to work in a smoking environment
