I am looking for personal care for a Child
Drivers licence required: No
Hours per week:
An average of 5 hours per week which could be worked on one weekend day session or split depending on PA availability. Days & hours to be mutually agreed with employer.
Hourly pay rate:
£11 per hour
A PA is required to help with a variety of tasks which will enable/assist my son who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.
My son is a 10-year-old boy who has complex additional needs. He is visually impaired, Epileptic and has a diagnosis of ADHD.
He is fully verbal, mobile and likes to be independent. He has a great imagination and commonly described as a delight to be around; full of fun and likes to be adventurous.
Although his needs are complex, he accesses a range of activities in the community with minimal support. His ADHD presents in that his attention span is limited unless participating in an activity he likes which the candidate would support.
He has no particularly challenging behaviours and loves the outdoors, music and being with others; adults and peers.

- Honest, reliable and punctual
- Non-judgemental and can build good relationships based on trust and respect
- Flexible and adaptable
- Willingness to travel in the local area
- Easy going with a good sense of humour
- Able to work alone
- Positive and creative with good communication skills
- Uk driving licence and own vehicle preferred but not essential. Mileage will be paid if using own car.
