I am looking for personal care for a Woman

Drivers licence required: Yes

Hours per week:

6 hours per week

Hourly pay rate:

£14 per hour plus 45p per mile

I am a 54-year-old spiritual lady who is looking for a personal assistant to support me with domestic tasks and getting out locally. This role would be to cover the existing PA when they are unable to support me.

I would like someone to get my house spruced up, taking charge of household tasks and help me plan meals.

I need support with getting out locally for a pedicure, going to the shops and getting involved in local activities and looking for opportunities to study.

I have mental health and physical health needs which affect my everyday needs. Experience of mental health would be desirable.

I am a very private person and like to keep to a low profile.

Duties include:

  • Other relevant duties as required
  • Administration
  • Housekeeping
  • Shopping
  • Transportation
  • Companionship

  • Laundry- all aspects
  • Changing bed linen and curtains
  • Taking out rubbish
  • Minor household maintenance e.g. changing light bulbs, taking down curtains for washing
  • Support with meal planning to ensure i am making nutritional meals
  • Accompany employer when accessing social and leisure activities, such pedicure manicures, waxing etc.
  • Accompanying employer to doctors/hospital appointments when required
  • Accompanying on trips out
  • Encourage me to make trips out an engage in activities of interest
  • The above duties will involve driving me in your car

Candidate qualities:

  • Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
  • Hygienic, tidy and well organised
  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties

  • Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
  • Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
  • Happy to work in a smoking environment

  • Experienced in mental health and ideally have experience or knowledge of Schizophrenia.
