A good listener
Sensitive to the fact that they will be working at the employer’s home:
be aware of other family members and to minimise interruption to them
treat employer’s home and belongings with care and respect
be wary and sensitive to the family’s routines, procedures and practices personal to them
Previous experience is not as essential as a kind and common sense approach is to the role; the employee’s potential, personal qualities. Approach and attitude is more important than experience.
