Hourly pay rate:

£12:00 p/h Week days, £13:00 p/h Week-ends, £16:00 p/h Bank holidays ( treated as ordinary working days for rotas)

Are you a good listener, good at picking up new skills, reliable, trustworthy and adaptable?
If so then have you considered working in the care sector for a lovely gentleman, like myself, so I am able to stay as independent as possible.
The job will be challenging and frustrating, interesting and varied, but hopefully, rewarding and satisfying.
Full training will be given

Duties include:

  • Housekeeping
  • Cooking
  • Dressing / undressing
  • Bathroom assistance
  • Medication prompting/administering
  • Personal grooming
  • Eating and drinking assistance
  • Moving and handling
  • Other relevant duties as required

Additional Duties:

Light exercises
This is not a complete list of every single thing you might conceivably be asked to do, not does it mean you will necessarily be asked to do everything on this list. Please note, this role will mainly involve care work
However the above is just and indication of some ancillary tasks you may be asked to help with

Candidate qualities:

  • Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills

Previous experience is not as essential as a kind and common sense approach is to the role; the employee's potential, personal qualities. Approach and attitude is more important than experience.
