Starting rate of £10.50 plus 45p per mile

I am an outgoing, bubbly 23 year old young lady living in Nyewood, near Petersfield.

I am looking to hire a Personal Assistant who can help me on Saturdays for approx. 6-7 hours.

You will need to be a driver with your own car (clean licence please)

I have some physical challenges including Ataxi (poor balance) and sometimes I need my wheelchair or an arm to help me get around. I live at home with my family and we are all quite active. I love to get out the house as I’m very sociable and have many interests including;

  • Cooking, baking and eating out
  • Shopping
  • Going to theatre and cinema
  • Gardening in my veggie patch
  • Making things, painting etc
  • Going to my gym
  • Yoga
  • Swimming
  • Travel

Duties include:

  • Medication prompting/administering
  • Eating and drinking assistance
  • Moving and handling
  • Other relevant duties as required
  • Housekeeping
  • Shopping

  • Transportation

Candidate qualities:

  • Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
  • Hygienic, tidy and well organised
  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
  • Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills

  • Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
  • Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

Additional requirements

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours

Notes:

Please note, if you are successful in your application for this position you will be employed directly by the individual employer and not Independent Lives. Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.
