I am looking for personal care for a Woman
Drivers licence required: No
Hours per week:
Thursday 10-2 and 3 hours every week which can be used flexibly
Hourly pay rate:
£15 per hour
My adult daughter is bright and a joy to spend time with, she enjoys getting out and about and has a small admin job once a week
This role is for a self-employed PA to accompany and assist in my daughter to attend her job every Thursday and supervise/prompt her to completes the tasks.
There are some other hours that can be used flexibly every week or 2 weeks for getting out for social tasks or accompanying to visit the mosque.
The ideal candidate for the role will be calm, patient and kind. And have similar interests.
Having a car and able to drive my daughter around would be most ideal as she get tired easily when walking but this is not essential and can commute on public transport with support.
Please note: You must be self-employed for this role: registered with HMRC and declaring your earnings, have the relevant insurance and provide certificate etc.
Duties include:
- Prompt/assist with basic tasks, e.g.
- Laundry
- Changing bed linen
- Bed making
- Prompting to clean teeth, put on coat and shoes etc.
- Accompany and assist when traveling to and from my weekly job.
- Overseeing/prompting/supporting where needed in the work role/tasks.
- Accompany for social and leisure activities/visits like:
- Visiting the mosque
- Shopping for essentials
- Clothes shopping
- Swimming
- Library
- Cinema
- Visiting friends
- Garden centres
- Craft fairs
- Whilst on duty at the employer’s home watching TV and assisting with craft activities
Candidate qualities:
- Happy to take my daughter to the mosque

Please note, if you are successful in your application for this position you will be employed directly by the individual employer and not Independent Lives. Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.
