I am looking for personal care for a Woman

The candidate should be a woman

Drivers licence required: Yes

Own vehicle needed: Yes

Hours per week:

Monday to Friday hours pattern 24 hours per week, times to be discussed.

Hourly pay rate:

£13.25

My adult daughter is kind and gentle, she enjoys being with people, mostly her family and familiar people but does warm up to new people quickly. Communication can be difficult as some word articulations are not clear.

We are looking for more self-employed personal assistants (PAs) to join us. The current PA works at the weekends, so weekday support is the most important thing for us at the moment.

You need to be registered with HMRC as a self-employed worker and declaring your income, have your own insurance for care/support work etc and meet the other requirements of a self-employed worker.

 

Duties include:

  • Medication prompting/administering
  • Personal grooming
  • Housekeeping
  • Shopping
  • Cooking
  • Transportation
  • Companionship
  • Dressing / undressing
  • Bathroom assistance

  • Catheter care

Candidate qualities:

  • Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
  • Reliable with good timekeeping
  • Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
  • Hygienic, tidy and well organised
  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
  • Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Honest and cheerful
  • Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
  • Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

  • Female due to personal care needs
  • Must be able to swim
  • Must be able to do personal care, showering, helping with clothing on and off, toileting, putting moisturiser on body etc.
