Personal Assistant (part time)
I am looking for personal care for a Woman

Drivers licence required: No
Hours per week:
8-9pm Monday to Friday, 9pm to 10pm Saturday and Sunday and 8am to 11am Saturday and Sunday. To be split between 2 x PAs, your availability can be discussed at interview.
Hourly pay rate:
£12.00 rising to £14.01 upon completion of probation/training
I am looking for a couple of PAs to join my team. You will be directly employed by me, but will support agency workers who will take the lead providing my personal care, assist with transfers etc. This is an enjoyable role where you will be a valued part of my team.
I live at home along with my family and my interests are gardening and shopping. I love to spend time in my garden whenever possible.
Starting rate £12 per hour increasing to £14.01 after probationary period.
You will be provided with all necessary training to enable you to feel confident in your role.

The tasks below are an indication of the tasks may PAs support with, depending on their specific working hours.
Showering - including washing, hair wash, towelling dry and drying hair
Transfers using hoist
Snack and drinks preparation, ensuring adequate fluid consumption
Emptying catheter leg bag and stoma care if required
Assistance with light gardening
Accompanying and assisting me on shopping trips if/when required, travelling in my wheelchair adapted vehicle.
Accompanying employer to appointments if required
Assistance with social and physical activities
Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours, Vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission

Please note, if you are successful in your application for this position you will be employed directly by the individual employer and not Independent Lives. Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.
