I’m a chatty, social, independent, and generally positive person, whose glass is almost always considered to be at least half-full! I'm a creative problem solver & at times a deep thinker!
I like to keep up with current affairs and have a passion for a fairer society, supporting diversity and inclusivity. I’m an animal lover, sharing my home with cats, dogs, a guinea pig & garden pond of fish! They are my finned & furry family.
My hobbies include gardening (when well enough and with assistance), listening to music and dancing (if well enough), watching television such as reality TV, documentaries and factual programs including true crime, forensics, cooking, art, social history and political debate.
Away from home, soon with support, once more, I plan to visit local pubs, restaurants, concerts, friends and family & with PA/carer assistance resume walking my 3 dogs in my local park.
At present it's enormously difficult for me to attend medical & other appointments in person. With support, I aim to resume this as soon as possible.
This PA role is to assist and support me with daily life activities, domestic tasks, cooking/prepping, etc which I can't complete independently. Currently as I’m unable to get out independently, I need support for transitional access to help me participate & become present in a wider community for social and leisure activities.
It is also to help me reduce oral pain medication with alternative and non-invasive therapies to support/enable effective alternative pain management via approved devices, enhance my emotional health and promote personal well-being.
I have a modern & well-equipped home, with many useful devices to assist with my domestic chores, gardening, and cooking etc, which makes my life easier.
Prior to using any unfamiliar equipment or devices, training and support will be given to any successful PA/carer candidate to ensure safe use of these items.
An ideal Personal Assistant/Carer will have an open mind with willingness to help, a positive can-do attitude to learning, be kind & caring and most definitely possess a sense of humour.
My home is in a safe Neighbourhood Watch area, well lit, tree lined and well accessed by public transport. Free parking on the road outside my property or on my drive is available.
