Monday – Friday, 9am – 10.30am & 3pm - 4.30pm but flexibility important
Hourly pay rate:
£13.50
I am a 35-year-old mum of two, to a vibrant 13-year-old daughter and a sensitive 7-year-old son. I am seeking support with caring for myself and household, as well as assistance with my son. I have Spinocerebellar Ataxia SCA3 which progressively causes me to lose my coordination and balance. This affects my speech and swallowing, causes occasional blurred vision and reduces my mobility significantly. I use a wheelchair for longer distances and crutch with support of someone for shorter distances.
The successful candidate must be able to lift the electric and manual wheelchair over two steps at the front door.
Duties include:
- Support with laundry; washing, drying and putting away
- Support with changing and washing bed linen, weekly
- Occasional emptying of commode
- Support and assistance with going outside with my son
- Support with household cleaning, daily
- Occasional school drop-off or pick-up

Non-smoker due to medical reasons, Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
