I am looking for personal care for a Man

Drivers licence required: No

Hours per week:

9 hours per week, days and times flexible

Hourly pay rate:

£11.44

I am a friendly man in my late forties, who suffers from multiple disabilities and health conditions. I am looking for a personal assistant to help me organise and attend appointments, help with housework and shopping as required. There is no personal care involved in the role. This will be a rewarding role for the right person.

Duties include:

  • Other relevant duties as required
  • Administration
  • Housekeeping

Candidate qualities:

  • Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
  • Reliable with good timekeeping
  • Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
  • Hygienic, tidy and well organised
  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
  • Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Honest and cheerful
  • Creative
  • Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
  • Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

  • The ideal candidate will be computer literate and comfortable using email etc.
  • The role requires close personal contact with an individual who is extremely vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission. Preference may be given to applicants who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Careful consideration will be given to applicants who can show the vaccination is not suitable for them on reasonable grounds.
