To be discussed

Hourly pay rate:

£10.42 (£15.63 bank holidays)

We are looking for a carer for our 31 year old son with various difficulties including ASD, epilepsy and challenging behaviours. The carers responsibilities would be mostly centred about being a friend for him as he doesn’t fully have the capacity to understand someone being his carer, but also to perform typical tasks for someone with difficulties such as his including some assistance with clothing, getting in and out the vehicle etc. (all to be gone through in detail).

The hours would mostly be centred around weekday evenings (6-9pm) but also we are looking for some potential day shifts (12-3pm) and there is also some holiday cover available.

His main hobby centres around walking his dog so we need someone who is a keen walker and happy to be outdoors (regardless of weather) and also needs to be comfortable with dogs.

If you think this is something you might be interested in, we can arrange a date to discuss some of the finer details. His needs can be complex so it’s best to be discussed as our main priority to making sure the relationship is a good fit. If we both feel there’s a potential we can look at the next steps of introductions.
