I am looking for personal care for a Child

Drivers licence required: Yes

Hours per week:

Hours in afternoon would be roughly 2.30-5.30 Can be flexible with days if need be. Extra hours available if wanted and also extra available in school holidays.

Hourly pay rate:

£12- £15 depending on experience

I am looking for general help for my busy family in Angmering.

I have 3 children (8 year old twins and a 10 year old). One of my twins is a full-time wheelchair user but a cheeky lively little boy. He also has mild ADHD. 

All 3 children are well behaved, friendly and welcoming, just a little hectic!

I’m looking for help with the children after school and some occasional evening babysitting. Hours in afternoon would be roughly 2.30-5.30 Can be flexible with days if need be. Extra hours available if wanted however, and also extra available in school holidays.

Although my son is in a wheelchair he has no high level care needs. He is very capable and very lively, just doesn’t have the use of his little legs!

Person needs to be lively, positive, firm but fair. We also have a nutty Labrador too!

Driver would be preferable. Please apply if you think you can help and I can give further details on pay etc. we are flexible with days/times. 

Duties include:

  • Moving and handling
  • Other relevant duties as required
  • Transportation

  • Must be comfortable with pets
  • Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

Having a UK driving licence would be an advantage

Additional requirements

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours

Please note, if you are successful in your application for this position you will be employed directly by the individual employer and not Independent Lives. Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.
