I am looking for personal care for a Woman

Drivers licence required: Yes

Hours per week:

Tues and Thurs 2 hrs am and 2 hrs pm to attend college (college starts at 9am and finishes at 4pm). 5 hrs which can be flexible on other days of the week

Hourly pay rate:

£12

I am a play hard but rest hard Leo who is looking for someone similar to provide some assistance to me.

I attend Hastings college two days a week which is very important to me, so I need someone who is able to reliably drive me there in the morning and back home at the end of the day (mileage will be paid for this).

On college days I would need you to also make sure I am ready for the day but also support me when I return home.

I can get a little anxious so you would need to be caring and patient and be able to offer reassurance when required.

When I am not at college, I would like a PA to help me with some support at home, shopping and also with some fun activities.

I love music particularly reggae and hip hop and am very creative and arty.

I have a host of animals including a seagull which thinks it’s a chicken so you would need to like animals.

This could be a job share so please apply for any days you are available.

Duties include:

  • Personal grooming
  • Administration
  • Housekeeping
  • Shopping

Social: 

Support to get ready for college course, and ensure employer has all relevant items for the day. Support to travel to the course at Hastings College and walk her into college to ensure she is supported with anxiety. College course starts at 9am.

PA to meet employer after college to ensure she is supported with anxiety upon leaving, support to travel home. College course finishes at 4pm. When employer and PA are back at home for the PA to then support to prepare evening meal.

Additional requirements

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours

Please note, if you are successful in your application for this position you will be employed directly by the individual employer and not Independent Lives. Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.
