Hello, I am a 43 year old independent, confident woman who lives in Rustington ( soon to be Angmering as due to move! ) with my husband who works full time; I am looking to hire a Personal Assistant for the weekends.

I have carers during the weekdays and also when my husband is away for work overnight,

Wages start at £16

I am looking for a carer for the weekend mornings, for one hour.

Saturday: 9am to 10am

Sunday: 7:30am-8:30am

I would like some support with washing, personal care, dressing and support with my breakfast. My disabilities affect me physically and mentally i need someone who can be a friend but also be caring and supportive.

Duties include:

Medication prompting/administering
Personal grooming
Eating and drinking assistance
Moving and handling
Clinical tasks
Other relevant duties as required
Housekeeping
Companionship
Looking after pets
Dressing / undressing
Bathroom assistance

Candidate qualities:

Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
Reliable with good timekeeping
Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
Hygienic, tidy and well organised
Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
Honest and cheerful
Creative
Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
Must be comfortable with pets
Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

Additional requirements

Non-smoker due to medical reasons, Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours, Vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission
