We are looking for a PA for our dear daughter who is now 16. She is an extremely active girl who is interested in the world around her. She loves going out and about and has memberships for Drusillas, Knockhatch, mini rail and David Lloyd. Her favourite things are swimming, listening to music and rollercoasters!
She’s very easy to look after as long as she is busy and out and about.
She’s non-verbal, doesn’t use Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) but makes her needs clear by leading you to what she wants. She needs help with self care, feeding and getting around, she is mobile but gets tired easily so has a special needs buggy for when she gets tired or lazy! She doesn’t have any behavioural problems, but can get impatient if she’s being ignored.
We are looking for someone to do alternate Saturdays 10-5 and some Sundays. We have just been awarded 6 hours a week direct payments but the funding will be a combination of private and direct payments.
