Hi,

I am looking for a PA to provide support for my 10-year-old child and help him access activities. He loves to swim and would enjoy trips to a pool.  He has attachments to his teddies, which go everywhere with him!

He has ASD and is non-verbal, so a PA who is has experience in this is preferable. The PA must be confident with keeping him safe when out (he can be a flight risk!) and about and dealing with challenging behaviours as he has tendencies to self-harm if told no, which can not be tolerated. The PA must also be flexible as he can be difficult if he does not want to go out that day.

Duties include:

  • Transportation
  • Companionship

  • Keeping him clean/ toileting
  • Keeping him safe indoors/ outdoors

Additional requirements

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
