I am looking for a kind and friendly PA for my sweet, happy 9-year-old boy, who has lots of energy for his favourite activities.
He loves gardening, watching vehicles, roadworks and watching workmen, bin men etc. He enjoys using his tool kit, art and crafts, Playmobil, dressing up, being a delivery driver, drumming and music!
Your role will be to provide one-to-one support to take him on trips out in the local area in your car. He likes going swimming and to museums, country centres, trains and buses. He enjoys collecting shells on the beach and digging in the sand. Occasionally, some of this support will be at home joining in with activities he loves.
He has a diagnosis of Global Developmental Delay (GDD), but is being assessed for ADHD, Autism and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD). Experience of working with SEN children is desirable.
Duties include:
- Accessing and participating in social and leisure activities e.g. Walks, going to the park, swimming, days out, museums, after school clubs etc
- Whist at home, participate with activities linked to interests e.g. crafts, pretend play etc.
