I am looking for personal care for a Child

Drivers licence required: Yes

Hours per week:

Flexible hours up to 4 hours per week. Outside of school hours and in the school holidays. Days and hours by mutual agreement.

Hourly pay rate:

£11.60 plus 45p per mile

I am mum to a nearly 15-year-old boy who loves gaming, Dungeons and Dragons, Stanger Things, and films of all kinds. I am looking for a PA/support worker go out with him to places such as the cinema, swimming, and antique shops. Yes, he loves a good antique shop!

My son has been diagnosed with intellectual disability and learning impairments. He likes routine and knowing what’s happening next.  You’ll need to kind, positive and bubbly to match his great sense of humour. He has a great sense of loyalty and is very caring.

It would be helpful if you can drive and have your own car to get out and about, but it’s not necessary as public transport can be used.

Duties include:

  • Shopping
  • Transportation
  • Companionship

  • SEN experience is required
  • The role requires close personal contact with an individual who is extremely vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission. Preference may be given to applicants who have been fully vaccinated against Covid-19. Careful consideration will be given to applicants who can show the vaccination is not suitable for them on reasonable grounds.
