My mum spends most of her time on her own and usually sits in front of the TV. She would welcome a new person to see her during the day for a chat, to encourage her to eat her lunch properly and possibly motivate her to do some sort of gentle exercise like a short walk or some sitting Pilates. She sometimes likes knitting, but she enjoys helping with household tasks the most, which makes her feel useful.

Duties include:

  • Medication prompting/administering
  • Personal grooming
  • Eating and drinking assistance
  • Moving and handling
  • Clinical tasks
  • Other relevant duties as required
  • Administration
  • Housekeeping
  • Shopping
  • Cooking
  • Transportation
  • Companionship
  • Dressing / undressing
  • Bathroom assistance

Candidate qualities:

My Mum speaks Polish, so looking for a native Polish speaker.

Additional requirements

Non-smoker due to medical reasons, Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours, Vulnerable to the risk of infection and disease transmission
