10 hours per week Tue - 10am to 1pm Wed - 10am to 2pm Thurs - 10am to 1pm

Hourly pay rate:

£13 per hour

We are looking for a compassionate and reliable Personal Assistant to support a kind-hearted man in his 40s who has a mild learning difficulty, is on the autistic spectrum, and has ADHD. He also manages epilepsy, diabetes, hypertension, sleep apnoea, and other health conditions, so someone with patience, understanding, and attentiveness is essential.

This role is about much more than practical support—it’s about companionship, helping him navigate daily life, and encouraging him to engage with the community while supporting his mental health and wellbeing. You will assist with appointments, medication reminders, ordering supplies, and helping him process and remember important information.

He is an animal lover with a particular passion for reptiles, enjoys 3D printing, fishing, and going to the gym, and is looking for someone to share in these interests. Ideally, he would like a male PA around his age who can drive and understands the importance of consistency, kindness, and empathy in supporting someone with complex needs.

Candidate qualities:

  • Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
