Hours per week:

Ideally 8 am to 9 am and 4pm to 6.30pm Monday, Wednesday Thursday and Friday. Tuesday 8am to 9.30am and 3.30pm to 6.30 pm. But any of these hours would be considered. Half terms, college holiday periods and weekend hours available.

Hourly pay rate:

13.00

We are looking for a PA to support a young adult wheelchair user to get to college in the mornings and to accompany her home and support her there for a few hours.

Weekend and holiday hours also available.

Duties include:

  • Medication prompting/administering
  • Personal grooming
  • Eating and drinking assistance
  • Moving and handling
  • Cooking
  • Companionship
  • Dressing / undressing
  • Bathroom assistance

Candidate qualities:

  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
  • Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Honest and cheerful
  • Creative

Additional requirements

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
