I am looking for personal care for a Woman

Drivers licence required: No

Hours per week:

8.30am-9.30am every day 6.00 pm-7.00pm every day Times can vary slightly for example 9am-10am and 5.30pm-6.30pm Please apply even if you can only cover a few of the shifts. Some flexibility would be desirable

Hourly pay rate:

£20.00 per hour

I am looking for Self Employed Carers to assist my friend who is in her late eighties.

The support is needed to help her to stay independent and living in her own home.

Care and support is needed with general activities of daily living for example preparing meals, prompting with medication, assisting with personal care, changing bed linen and putting washing on.

My friend lives on her own and enjoys activities like reading, completing crosswords and watching wildlife in her garden.

She is a very independent lady and knows what she likes and dislikes.

I am looking for carers who are willing to spend time building a good relationship with her and provide me with respite from the caring role that I have taken on.

Duties include:

  • Medication prompting/administering
  • Clinical tasks
  • Housekeeping
  • Shopping
  • Cooking
  • Dressing / undressing
  • Bathroom assistance

  • Laundry- All aspects
  • Changing/ Making bed
  • Taking out rubbish
  • Washing and showering – towelling dry/ drying hair
  • Help getting into and out of shower as required
  • Supervision and assistance with all washing/showering
  • Assistance with applying cream
  • Using the toilet/changing pads

Candidate qualities:

  • Hygienic, tidy and well organised
  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
  • Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills

  • Able to always work to high standards of health & safety
