I am looking for personal care for a Woman

The candidate should be a woman

Drivers licence required: Yes

Hours per week:

8am - 4pm Monday to Friday, job share available please apply if you can do any of the above days.

Hourly pay rate:

£13.50 per hour

I am a bright bubbly chatty 20-year-old young lady with learning difficulties who needs support to get ready for my day, then escorted to a day service 5 days a week.

Requires support during day with accessing toilet, tube feeding, following physio plan.

Escorted back home.

Duties include:

  • Personal grooming
  • Moving and handling
  • Other relevant duties as required
  • Housekeeping
  • Dressing / undressing
  • Bathroom assistance

Candidate qualities:

  • Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
  • Reliable with good timekeeping
  • Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
  • Hygienic, tidy and well organised
  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
  • Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Honest and cheerful
  • Creative
  • Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
  • Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

  • Fun bubbly and lively
  • I need a PA who can clearly speak the English language to a very high standard in order to support me at.
  • Experience of using suctioning would be desirable.
  • Can either drive our Mobility car or use their own vehicle at 30p per mile

Additional requirements

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours

Please note, if you are successful in your application for this position you will be employed directly by the individual employer and not Independent Lives. Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.
