I am looking for personal care for a Woman

The candidate should be a woman

Drivers licence required: Yes

Own vehicle needed: Yes

Hours per week:

10 hours a week (actual day and shift times by mutual agreement)

Hourly pay rate:

£13.40

I am an animal lover and have two friendly dogs and am looking for a flexible PA to support me at home.

Due to my ongoing health issues, I have good days and bad days with fluctuating pain so am looking for a calm and friendly PA to support me with domestic and personal care tasks.

On good days I would like support to get outside, I like being near water and dislike being in crowds.

I may require support and accompaniment to medical or other appointments.

Duties include:

  • Medication prompting/administering
  • Personal grooming
  • Other relevant duties as required
  • Administration
  • Housekeeping
  • Shopping
  • Cooking
  • Transportation
  • Companionship
  • Looking after pets
  • Dressing / undressing
  • Bathroom assistance

Candidate qualities:

  • Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
  • Reliable with good timekeeping
  • Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
  • Hygienic, tidy and well organised
  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
  • Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Honest and cheerful
  • Creative
  • Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
  • Must be comfortable with pets
  • Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

  • Ideally will have a UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
  • Female* due to personal care needs

Additional requirements

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours

Notes:

Please note, if you are successful in your application for this position you will be employed directly by the individual employer and not Independent Lives. Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.
