You will also be required to ensure her continued safety and be with her at home before and after this outing to motivate her to get ready, prompt her with time-management and help her prepare lunch, as well as to encourage her to fill any spare time by doing some crafts or baking for example.

You should be pro-active and self-motivated with a calm, caring and understanding nature.

This will be a fun and fulfilling role and any necessary training will be provided.

Duties include:

  • Assisting my daughter with loading/unloading lockers in Changing rooms
  • Supporting my daughter to pay for Swimming Pool entry
  • Accompanying my daughter to visit local Cafes and supporting her to read menu, order food, pay
  • Accompanying my daughter on other outings/social activities as required
  • Occasionally accompanying my daughter on the bus if required
  • Occasionally driving my daughter in your own car (if available and agreed in advance)
  • Supporting my daughter with her time management, ensuring you have enough time to get ready for outings and leave home with sufficient time to get to planned activities
  • Motivating and prompting my daughter to get ready and organised
  • Encouraging and motivating my daughter to fill any spare time at home with activities such as baking and crafting, as well as participating in and helping her complete and enjoy these activities
  • Reading signs/notices/anything else to my daughter as necessary
  • Explaining things to my daughter as necessary
  • Ensuring my daughter’s safety at all times
