I am looking for personal care for a Woman

The candidate should be a woman

Drivers licence required: No

Hours per week:

Weekend morning 7am - 9am Weekday evening shift 1 hour between 10pm – 11:30pm 2- 3 days a week and to cover

Hourly pay rate:

£13.50 per hour

I am a young at heart lady in my seventies with quadriplegia requiring support so I can live as independently as possible.

I love to read and do puzzle books as well as being in my garden.

I have a large family including 10 great grandchildren and love spending time with them.

I am looking for support with my morning and evening routines and to provide cover when any of my team of PAs is unavailable.

This is a rewarding role with all professional training provided.


Duties include:

  • Medication prompting/administering

  • Eating and drinking assistance
  • Moving and handling
  • Other relevant duties as required
  • Administration
  • Housekeeping
  • Shopping
  • Gardening
  • Dressing / undressing

Candidate qualities:

  • Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
  • Hygienic, tidy and well organised
  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
  • Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills

  • Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
  • Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

Additional requirements

Non-smoker preferred or someone willing to refrain from smoking during working hours
