I am looking for personal care for a Woman

The candidate should be a woman

Drivers licence required: No

Hours per week:

Fortnightly 15 hour active shift on a Weekend day + half a day weekly (in the week) 

Hourly pay rate:

£13 per hour weekdays and £13.50 per hour weekends On-call 7am-10pm £40 per day (plus hourly rate if you are called out to double up with another PA)

Female PA needed for a fun, outgoing, young lady & her assistance dog in Worthing.

A PA Position is available to join our friendly team of carers to support a physically disabled woman who has full time care (7am-10pm) in her daily life, and help her pursue her varied interests and academic research.

We are looking for someone to do 22 hours a week as well as 1.5 on-calls per week. As a part of the PA team you also cover each other shifts e.g. Holidays and sickness and helping each other out.

Most importantly, you will share my passion of adventuring outdoors with my assistance dog, socialising (going for coffee & vegan food) and being an active member of the community.

I am a wheelchair user and due to the nature of my conditions, my needs can fluctuate on a daily basis. I have an AMAZING assistance dog to help with many tasks (and a cat who is friendly but not quite so helpful!), so you must be comfortable around animals.

Duties include:

  • Medication prompting/administering
  • Housekeeping
  • Cooking

As a member of my caring PA team, you’ll be responsible for a wide range of tasks that can vary by the day, so an amount of flexibility is required. Some of the main duties include:

  • Administration of medication and regular stock-taking
  • Accompanying and assisting me in my daily life and task's
  • Cooking simple vegan food
  • Pet care
  • Driving to and Attending appointments
  • General housework and light gardening
  • Occasional assistance with personal care

… and all sorts of other things!

Candidate qualities:

  • Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
  • Must be comfortable with pets
  • Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

A caring disposition
genuine enthusiasm and a can-do attitude

Preferrable:
A clean, full UK manual driving licence. Must be 25+ for insurance purposes
Relatable training/ experience
