Female personal assistant wanted for our 12 year old non-binary child. They have a diagnosis of autism with a pathological demand avoidance profile, plus a diagnosis of postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome. They carry out their own self-care, are fully mobile and communicate well. They have a passion for playing the piano, enjoy dark humour, anime and Japanese culture. They enjoy art, going for walks, going on adventures on the train and bus, going to anime and comic cons, and many other activities. They are generally very well behaved for their current PA but occasionally have a tendency to wander off, so need close supervision. We are looking for someone friendly and approachable, preferably with an understanding of demand avoidance. 5 hours a week or fortnight, which can be used for one day a week on weekends, or can be saved up for use in holidays/half terms. Finding the right person for them is our priority. We have two dogs and a cat, and are looking for a non-smoker.
