I am flexible on how arrangements would work in making sure all 4 days are covered - this can mean booking more than one CG, and then each CG can cover different days. If you are available for any of the dates, please get in contact and we can discuss this in further detail.

Entry to the event will be free for you, as my CG, however I will not be able to provide food/drink free. I would advise you to bring your own refreshments to eat during breaks. The alternative is that you can buy a ticket for the event (which includes food) and this would cost £80, which may not be justified if more than one CG is employed.

Duties include:

I will require you to be by my side, providing hands-on where required so I can participate in the socialising

Candidate qualities:

  • Respectful of the employer's privacy and confidentiality
  • Reliable with good timekeeping
  • Able to both follow instructions and work on own initiative
  • Hygienic, tidy and well organised
  • Fit and healthy to undertake the required duties
  • Patient and possess excellent interpersonal skills
  • Honest and cheerful
  • Able to speak and read English to a reasonable standard
  • Able to always work to high standards of health & safety

It is important that you are aware of the nature of the event (Leather & Bear Gay-related event) and you are happy to work in this domain. I will require you to be by my side, providing hands-on where required so I can participate in the socialising. I am not looking specifically for a gay CG, I am looking for an experienced CG who is liberal / open minded, and if you know International Sign, this will be a bonus but not essential.

I may want to pace myself, take a breather and get fresh air, so there will be opportunities for breaks. It is important to be flexible.

Notes:

All applicants must have the right to work in the UK and be willing to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service check if required.

Please note, if you are successful in your application for this position you will be employed directly by the individual employer and not Independent Lives. Successful applicants will be entitled to Holiday pay and will be issued employment contracts.
